Q: Will I get any swelling after my procedure?
A: Swelling usually occurs for about 48 hours after the eye and lip procedure. And sometimes some bruising may occur with a very few clients. Ice compresses help a great deal for the first 24 hours as well as propping yourself up at night. A good recipe for ice bags:
1 part rubbing alcohol, 2 parts water. Fill
a few clean zip lock bags with the mixture and put them into a clean bowl
and into the freezer (at least 2 days ahead of time). They make a great
slush that will conform to your face.
Q: How long does each procedure take and can I have more then one procedure done in one day?
A:
One procedure usually takes 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours to complete. Lips take
longer because of the trip to the dentist office. Most people have more
than one done in a day because it brings the cost down, plus they can heal
up at the same time without worrying about taking extra time off of work.
Q: Is permanent make-up the same as tattooing?
A: It is tattooing, but the technique is different along with the pigments. The pigments are refined for the delicate tissues of the face. And just speaking for my own clinic, my clients comment on the comfortable, warm and sanitary surroundings. It is an over all good experience for them.
Q: How do I get started?
A: First call for a consultation appointment. Please be patient. I work by myself and your call is very important to me. I try to get to the phone, but if I'm working on a client, I do try to give her or him my full attention. So, please leave me a message and a phone number with a time that would be best to call you back. Also, I can be reached at my e-mail address below:
Q: Do you do regular tattoos and piercing?
A: Sorry, but no. There are people that do that for a living and are good at it. BUT, please check out the places you are considering. And don't hesitate asking questions about their sanitation practices. And if you are not comfortable with the answers, follow your instincts. Find somewhere else where you are comfortable.
Q: What is included in the price for my procedure?
A: Your price includes, consultation, your 1st procedure and one touch up 3 to 4 weeks later.
